Message from Bob Louder, President of CFM

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God, and the peace of God which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 4:6

God’s Word says that financial difficulties are always symptoms of spiritual problems. The symptoms are financial. The problems are spiritual. The best way to deal with spiritual problems is to become involved in the spiritual disciplines- to hear, read, memorize, meditate and study the Word of God, AND PRAY.

God’s work through everyone and everything associated with Christian Financial Ministries, has been, is, and always will be based on prayer. We pray individually. We pray as a staff. We pray for our counselees, clients and their creditors. Our Board of Directors prays.

All this praying will continue.

Now God is expanding His call to pray for the material needs of those associated with this ministry by bringing together the DEBT FREE LIVING GOD’S WAY, INTERNATIONAL PRAYER AND PRAISE TEAM.

The founding foundation for this PRAYER TEAM is formed by 32 prayer warrior volunteers from nine countries that are associated with God’s work through Christian Financial Ministries.

This PRAYER TEAM is committed to regularly pray for the specific needs the Volunteer Prayer Team Coordinator posts to this site.

Here’s how it works.

1. You are invited to submit Prayer Requests and Praise Reports if you are a past or present client, counselee, counselee creditor, newsletter subscriber, e-book purchaser, staff member, member of our Board of Directors, or a member of the PRAYER TEAM. (If you are not already a newsletter subscriber, it’s easy and it’s FREE–check out the link on our home page.)

2. You submit your Prayer Request or Praise Report by “clicking” on “Praise Reports and Prayer Requests” in blue on the upper right of this page. You MUST identify your request or report by your first name only AND your state (if in the United States) or your country if other than the United States. You MUST also include your email address (we guarantee the security of your email address). Please note that we will not post personal contact information for any reason.

3. The Volunteer Prayer Team Coordinator will review and validate each Prayer Request and Praise Report, then post them to the site. Anyone can view posted Praise Reports and Prayer Requests by “clicking” the blue “Praise Board” or “Prayer Board” under the “Catagories” listing on the right of this page.

4. Once posted, everyone visiting the site is invited to hold these needs up in prayer before our God, Who promises to hear and act. As the old saying goes, ” A day hemmed in prayer is less likely to unravel.”

5. NEW AS OF OCTOBER 27, 2008.  WE WILL NO LONGER RECEIVE AND POST “COMMENTS” DUE TO THE OVERWHELMING AMOUNT OF SPAM WE ARE RECEIVING.  PLEASE KNOW THAT PRAYERS AND PRAISES WILL BE LIFTED UP TO OUR LORD EVEN THOUGH YOU DON’T SEE ANY “COMMENTS.”

Our prayer is that this process will help bring those in need peace and assurance, knowing that anything that comes their way is “Father filtered.”
